Dance, Music, Books

I love to dance - it's an essential part of my life. I typically take classes at the Maryland Youth Ballet and at CityDance

I listen to a lot of music, mostly on the electronic side of things. On the playlist right now are

  • Green-House - Six Songs for Invisible Gardens [ambient music for plants]

  • Snoh Aalegra - Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies [r&b]

  • John Carroll Kirby - My Garden [blissed-out California jazz]

  • India Jordan - Watch Out! [high-energy house]

I've worked with rare books for years, mostly rare Americana at the William Reese Company in New Haven and the John Carter Brown Library in Providence. Personally, I collect dancer biographies and autobiographies, especially works relating to Martha Graham.
